totally makes sense...

that I wouldn't feel good on my days off. I have work today and now I feel like doing stuff....except this is how my desk looks....

...Yeah...it's a mess. At least the Whale of Failure is in plain view...I get nervous anytime it goes missing...that means it's plotting against me.
HOWEVER, my husband found a neat place for my japanese lady cloth, in front of my desk. That way, when I'm wearing a skirt, nobody in the hall gets to see anything. Also, it looks really nice.

Also, sometime this weekend I gave Ryuu a bath, here she is attempting to lay on her side in the tub.

She's a bit grumpy recently.

So yeah, it's been a long weekend, but I did finish one of my projects too!

This pic is kind of yellowish, but it was taken on my mum's pump organ and I thought it made a nice background. The zipper is kind of funky though, I'm not good at them yet (this is the third I've ever sewn) and it keeps getting caught in the fabric. I'm trying to give it enough fabric on either side, but it appears the lining is getting pulled into the zipper....it's all very confusing.

All right, well I'm off to soak in more of this lovely cold before going to work where it's very not cold.
