What I've been up to lately...

So yeah I said I'd be back the other day because I thought this would be done then...but it wasn't.
I also know why I don't follow crochet patterns...this was supposed to be a square. I like how it looks though, and my husband says that it's better to wrap a baby in something like this than a square blanket anyways (trust him, he's from a big family).
SO, here it is!

The picture is a little darker than I wanted it to be, but there's no way to adjust the settings on the camera and I don't feel like going into photoshop to change it right now...

This one's a little better...the green border is glittery...and it's pretty big. 

So cousin, I hope you and your baby enjoy this blanket when you get it!

Right now I'm kind of nervous because it's in the wash...and I wasn't sure how to wash it so I just put it on the most delicate setting, I'll probably lay it out to dry somewhere when it's done...who knows what a dryer would do to that thing...

Yeah, work has been really draining lately so I don't have the energy to make stuff like I want to, and I've been on the verge of a mental breakdown lately, so finishing this blanket so soon is really quite great for me...

Also, for the etsy shop, I'm going to wait until after I'm done with work for the summer, because being a cook, I don't get a lot of time to sit around or take days off. I am excited to be working hard and earning money though, that means a car is in the future for me and the hubby. I won't be able to get my license until next year, but hey, we'll have a car for when I do.
