Tutorial! DIY fancy bowls

HI! Was the title confusing enough for you?
I figured today I would share a little DIY project that is quick, easy, and turns out really cute!
So the project is: Fancy bowls!
Oooh...fancy!

SO, here's what you need:
♦ Tealight bowls (like 50 cents at Walmart) Get the clear ones, I had originally gotten colored for a possible wedding decoration...and the color was painted on! I went to scrape the sticker off the bottom and the color came off!
♦ Nailpolish in desired colors...I used pale blue and this chameleon-y mint color
It's really pretty and changes colors depending on the light :)

Step one: wash the heck out of the bowls...make sure to get all the sticker gunk off the bottom, I used chapstick to dissolve it and then steel wool (but I was getting paint off of them as well, the steel wool probably isn't necessary if you have clear)

Step two: Paint the outside of the bowls, bottom first, then going around the edges. I went around across-wise with the first coat like >>>.
Step three: When the first coat is dry then paint again, going the other way, like vertical-wise ^^^
Step four: Profit! (fill the bowls)

great for holding parts of a project you are working on...
Or sorting things! Right now I have one holding a couple of buttons that I am saving for a project...and the other is for change when my husband gets home from work, it's right by where the phone and all that goes so it won't get ignored!

And that concludes my first tutorial :) Thank you for reading, please share if you make this!
If you guys liked it, I have some other things I want to share, and some more complex things too!

Alright, time to go hang out with the husband before he goes to work
