Because it means autumn is on it's way! It's my favorite season, because of Halloween cuties, big family gatherings, playing in the leaves, watching kitkeh bulk up for winter (He goes from skinny-fat like SHOOM!), my birthday, and my wedding anniversary! I also love the crispness, warm dark colors, and tastiness of autumn.
I get to make my milk-free hot cocoa mix soon, and drink hot tea again, and start baking cookies and brownies and other delicious things (just now experimenting with cinnamon+citrus-free varieties)
The neighbor kiddos go back to school, so a little bit of peace for me to go outside and think.
I don't get in trouble for long autumn walks, just as long as I wear the dayGLO orange vest (we have hunters and poachers alike around here) and whistle as I go.
Hubby and I will be able to leave our window open instead of having the A/C on.
Movie marathons will be the norm.
Crochet will become cozier, sewing warmer, and I'll start drawing again.
Learning how to drive will become more beautiful as the colors change and the air becomes crispy and delicious.
We'll all scramble to get end-of-the-year barbecuing done, have a last ditch effort at a bonfire, and pack up the camper for next year.
Ryuu will miss going outside, but that just means that I'll love it more (hot-weather lizard, cold-weather Jenn).
Sure, there is raking, cutting firewood, and general getting ready for winter going on, but the warmth and love that this season brings me should help me get through. Hopefully, Hubbs and I will both be employed, so we'll have a stress-reduced season!
day 10- songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad
I don't have specific playlists for that, I just listen to my music.
