So, because I am incredibly good at putting things off if there's too much at once, I have decided to make a list of what I want/need to do this year for my Etsy shop. This is good for me, because if I have too many things to do at once, I kind of fry out and then they aren't done as well. I have listed the items and the month it HAS to be done by for this to work...of course I'll try to work ahead because I'm an overachiever too. :)
Here's the list, I'll update you peeps when I check off items. :)
JANUARY- Sell first item :) (done!)
FEBRUARY- have 10 items listed ()
MARCH- offer at least 5 customizable items ()
APRIL- have 25 items listed ()
MAY- have a good record-keeping system set up ()
JUNE- get professionally made business cards ()
JULY- offer large dragons and options ()
AUGUST- offer gift services ()
SEPTEMBER- offer international orders ()
OCTOBER- cat toys! >^..^< ()
NOVEMBER- offer seasonal items ()
DECEMBER- better promo gifts/items ()
EXTRA THINGS TO DO-
--revamp shop appearance and info ()
--revamp shop policies ()
--offer more shipping and packaging options ()
-- make 5 sales ()
--LOGO!!!!!!! ()
--do a blog giveaway ()
--take good photos ()
Wow, that's a lot of things to do, but just having one that HAS to be done every month makes it a lot less scary. :) I have a copy hanging on the wall above my desk too to remind me to get busy!
Well, that's what I've been up to.

I think this is a great idea! And to space it out over a year is good, because then it doesn't seem like so much. I'm a professional procrastinater myself at times.
ReplyDeleteThanks, yeah I am really bad unless I can really see and touch the progress. I'm glad I'm not the only one who puts things off. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome idea! I wish i was as organised with my lil store :)
