Hello again (and again)

So yesterday at about 7:30 AM, the power flickered and went out, in the middle of a HUGE thunderstorm. :O There was no power until about 11AM this morning.
So what did I do? Well I didn't take pictures, that's for sure. My camera battery was dead. :/
Hubby's grandparents took us to a diner for breakfast/lunch (we all get up at like...noon and eat then) and then we came home for a bit. Hubby listened to the radio and made calls on his cellphone to see if the shop was closed, but it wasn't and he had to go into work. I cut out two green axolotls and started to do the eyes on them. By the way, does anyone know a good way to get safety eyes on without bruising their thumbs? Both of mine are purple and black on the pads and it HURTS a LOT. Then I had cut out gills for another two axolotls, so I'll start them today. A pink one and a purple one. :3
I got a paper for a craft show opportunity, and I'm going to call the lady later on to get in. This is the same show that I didn't sell anything at last year, but I think that I'll do better this year, she is already advertising and the show isn't until September.
I also read a lot. I got most of the way through my book (Patric Rothfuss; The Name of the Wind) It's really good, I might finish it later today if I get my other work done.
I took Ryuu outside for almost an hour so she would get some basking done, and she was playing in the yard and eating things. It was cute.

So yeah, I'm going to go to work and hopefully get something done.
