Steggy!

Alright, first off, my hand is still useless to me, and I will be mad at it until it gets better.

However, I still felt all craftastic, so I had to make something...even though I couldn't use my hand. Do you know how hard it is to make things when you cannot use one of your hands? I'll give you a hint: IMPOSSIBLE!
I decided beading was my best bet, because that uses the least amount of left hand....or so I thought. Turns out, unless my fingers are gone, I will still use my hand, no matter how injured it is.

Anyways, without further wait,
Introducing, STEGGY!

 Hooray for crappy webcam pics!
I was sorting through my beads, and I had a ton of plastic tubey ones that I really had no other use for. I remember having a kit as a child that made something similar to this beastie, so I decided to just go for it and make a little dino. Steggy took about three hours to make, from start to finish, and I managed to stab underneath about three fingernails while bending wire. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and it made my husband chuckle about how I must be really bored if I'm making dinosaurs.

It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but the smaller beads are actually pink, thus the dinosaur is albino. I would have given it pink eyes too, but the black ones are so much shinier and cuter and less killer-lab rat. I'm always for making things look less like killer lab rats. I wish I could have taken better pictures, but alas, no camera, only a webcam.
Here's one more look at the steggy goodness.
