Beady Croc and Hikisquids!

Hi!

Well, I'm back, after going up with my brother to visit his girlfriend at her school, and going to painting class with her. T'was fun!

Well, my crafty bug has not left me yet, and my wrist is still icky...but I've had my brace off all morning and it's just weak feeling right now...so it seems to be healing (just wait, I'll overdo it and it'll be all cracky and gross in a bit).

ANYways, my brother fell in love with a beady croc that I made the other day, so I thought I'd put a pic up of it before I give it to him (Surprise!). See how cute and crocigatory it is? I vote crocigator becomes a word, because it's a cross between a crocodile and an alligator!

So, onward to my newest craft-baby, the Hikisquid! I'm actually in the process of making a free pattern and tutorial for you peoples, and I will post it when it is complete (hopefully next week sometime). Here's a preview of it's hikiness...

Isn't it just adorable? It's a pincushion/computer mascot sized colossal squid! I decided to make this little guy because I have an adorable pincushion I made at like....four in the morning one night that I wanted to make a pattern for...this is the improved, tweaked, anatomically-kinda-accurate result! I shall call it...Hiki! When I post the design, I will give the back story for the hikisquid, it's good I promise!
