So it wasn't exactly this week....and I didn't take pictures, but I would like to share the last time I went to a diner. My family went to the Side Street Cafe in Fremont, which was really cool. It's really two restaurants, the Side Street Cafe, and the Main Street Cafe, which had a bar. They were connected and there is an apartment upstairs where I'm pretty sure the owners live.
It is a 40's-50's style diner, with old music, fun tables and GIANT teacups on the tables to hold the sugar packets, condiments, etc.
I got what I generally get when I go out somewhere, a french dip and fries. :) It was delicious. I took half of it home and ate that for lunch the next day.
Another place I like to eat at is The Overboard Inn in Twin Lake, MI. They have the most AMAZING cheesburgers there, and I always get a bacon cheesburger with lettuce and a fried egg......Perfect Sammich right there. :)
So, the next time you are in West Michigan, I recommend you try those two places. :)
